Binge watching on Netflix or Hulu is something we're all guilty of doing. But we all do have shows that make us come back for more. Eventually, your snacks and your couch will become your best friend. I know they're mine. This post is dedicated to my top 10 favorite TV shows. These are the shows I have no trouble re-watching almost every week.

1. Supernatural (2005-

Seasons: 14

Needs while watching: Family member that's willing to kill demons with you

Supernatural is about two brothers, Sam and Dean who face sinister things and hunt demons as well. We follow them around as they handle situations dealing with their family, enemies and new allies. I highly recommend people to watch this show not only because of the part of them hunting evil things and ridding the world of evil but the relationship between Dean and Sam is what makes me come back almost every week. The show does have 14 seasons, therefore, I recommend you to get really comfortable watching this. I recommend that you start watching this now because this show has been renewed for a 15th season. You can watch this show on Netflix and The CW.

2. Teen Wolf (2011-2017)

Seasons: 6

Needs while watching: Kleenex

Scott McCall happened to get into a situation by walking in the woods in the middle of the night. Scott got bitten by a wolf and doesn't know whether he's human or a wolf. What he really knows is that his life is changed forever. As the show gets deeper into Scott's life after he's been bitten he realizes he has some sort of powers. As time goes by, Scott doesn't know if his powers are a gift or a curse. What I enjoyed the most about this show was how different every person was on the show. Each character on this show had some different abilities and/or different powers. Also, everyone on this show was an essential piece of the story-line. Heads up, this is a show you might cry over, don't get too attached to characters because they may or may not last. You can watch Teen Wolf on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, iTunes, Google Play Movies & TV, and Vudu.

3. Grown-ish (2018-

Seasons: 2

Needs while watching: College Roommates

A spin-off from the TV show Black-ish. Grown-ish follows the life of Zoey Johnson as she makes her way into adulthood and leaves the nest and goes to college. Along the way, Zoey makes friends and she finds out that everything isn't as easy as what it used to be. What I love about Grown-ish would have to the cast, their dynamic together matches well. Also, a lot of the cast members are young and some of them are in college and they know everything isn't always what it seems and that college isn't always going to be easy. Although the episodes are only 30 minutes, the show is being renewed for a third season so you won't miss out too much on these faces that you'll grow to love. There are 2 seasons for you to binge-watch on Hulu and Freeform.

4. The Bold Type (2017-

Seasons: 2

Needs while watching: Best friends

The Bold Type is about three best friends, Jane, Sutton, and Kat. These three work together for a magazine company, Scarlet. The purpose of this magazine is for people to find their own voices and speak any truth they believe. Although they work really hard to publish issues for the magazine, they have everyday struggles with their lives as well. That could be relationships, friendships, and them trying to find themselves. The series is inspired by the life of Joana Coles, a longtime magazine editor. Coles is also an executive producer of the show. This show will leave you wanting more but once you watch the first two seasons don't worry because seasons three will be on its way Tuesday, April 9th on Freeform. To catch up on The Bold Type, it's available on Hulu and Freeform.

5. Dear White People (2017-

Seasons: 2

Needs while watching: White people to stop pretending they're black

Based off of the film with the same name, Dear White People is a TV show that follows around colored students at a predominantly white Ivy League college. These students are faced with multiple trials such as social injustice, politics, cultural biased and much more. The show uses a lot of brutal honesty, humor, and irony to show the real-life problems that are still happening in this world today. What keeps me coming back to watch this show is the brutal honesty of what's happening in the world we live in, especially what's happening to the black community. Once you watch this show, enjoy it (because you will), and finish it, don't panic because producers have announced a third season coming on Netflix. You can watch Dear White People on Netflix.

6. Pretty Little Liars (2010-2017)

Seasons: 7

Needs while watching: Patience

Four girls start to have a different view on things since their best friend Allison went missing. It's been a whole year and Emily, Hannah, Aria, and Spencer all grew apart from each other and all of them have different challenges in their lives and things start to get even more complicated when they start to receive text messages from an anonymous person named 'A.' The girls all start to think that it's Allison because Allison knows all of their secrets but more secrets come out following Allison disappearance and the girls are trying to figure out who's this person is that knows so much about all of them. What I loved about this show was that it would always be something in their way, I know it sounds bad but it made the show always have a good story-line and it would keep me coming back for more. Once you finish all 7 seasons, don't panic because there will be a spin-off coming on Freeform called Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionist airing on March 20th. You can watch Pretty Little Liars on Netflix.

7. Stranger Things (2016-

Seasons: 2

Needs while watching: Pillow to hide under

Taken place in 1984, Stranger Things is about four best friends Mike, Will, Dustin, and Lucas. One night they were all playing a game and after that, they're best friend Will went missing. As soon as Will went missing a new girl appears and her name's Eleven. This causes all of them to team up and find their missing friend and the deeper they dig, the more sinister things become. What I enjoy about Stranger Things is the young cast. I think they're all great for their age and it makes me excited about this generation. You'll get addicted to watching Stranger Things but, don't worry. Season 3 is coming on Netflix this July. You can watch Stranger Things on Netflix.

8. Insecure (2016-

Seasons: 3

Needs while watching: Best friends like Issa and Molly

Issa and Molly are best friends that deal with real-life situations and deal with their insecurities as well. What I love about this show is how funny it is and it shows you the type of outcomes that could happen in real life situations. You'll most definitely get attracted to this cast (literally and figuratively) and once you finish the show, don't panic because it's been renewed for a fourth season thanks to the creator and co-star Issa Rae. You can watch Insecure on HBO.

9. The Vampire Diaries (2009-2017)

Seasons: 8

Needs while watching: A boyfriend like Stefan and Damon

The Vampire Diaries goes into the life of Elena Gilbert and talks about what it's like with it just being her, her younger brother Jeremy, and her aunt Jenna. Next thing you know she goes to school and theirs a new, cute boy enrolled, named Stefan. Come to find out he's a vampire that starts falling for Elena. Before everything gets sweet between Elena and Stefan, Stefan's bad boy brother comes into town to wreak havoc. What I love about The Vampire Diaries is the villains on the show, some of these villains are truly evil but, they'll leave you wanting more. Once you finish watching The Vampire Diaries, wipe your tears because they have a spin-off called 'The Originals.' After you finish The Vampire Diaries, you should also watch 'Legacies.' You can watch The Vampire Diaries and The Originals on Netflix and you can watch Legacies on CW.

10. Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001-2015)

Seasons: 14

Needs while watching: You need to actually watch the show

Degrassi talks about the problems young adults could have, going on in their everyday lives. Which could include sexuality, drugs, or just growing up. This show follows around the characters while they're at school and at home. I feel like Degrassi is a true gem and it deserves to be on this list, this was a show I know for a fact everyone loved and still watches today it's good for laughs and emotionally connecting to characters but it also spits some stuff. The theme song still runs in my head from time to time. Degrassi is available to watch on YouTube, iTunes, Google Play Movies & TV, and Amazon Prime Video.
